Use only the torque converter that was shipped with transmission. All u-joints need to be replaced with new ones before you install the axle.

Brake parts are not included with the axle.

Transmissions: most transmissions are shipped without transmission fluid and a filter to ensure that you install new. Rear axles that have a backing plate may be shipped with the on them, but is not warrantied.
