The unit is completely self contained. It has been fitted with a new bulb and bench tested determined to be in perfect working order. Please see my other offers for more parts thanks looking.

It has an internal mercury switch that closes the circuit when hood is opened thereby lighting light. The socket has fomoco oval and part number e8ab ab stamped on it. The wiring is in excellent condition with no cuts, burns or splices. It will fit 1991 and possibly later model's up to 2004 as well.
